Zebra finch laying egg on bottom of the cage on tray?

I didn't want them to breed because cage is already small but one of them egging on newpaper on the bottom. I will now get a small cup and put some gr and place eggs in the cup. Are the eggs fragile ? can i carry them and place them? I am afraid , i will break them.
