Do you think Rudy Giuliani would really get past the religious right and obtain the Republican nomination?

There is no way that the religious right would stand for Giuliani to be their candidate. He is very liberal when it comes to issues like abortion, gun control, and the like. I think he is just way too "New York City" to fly with the backbone of the Republican party, which are conservative people in the South and Midwest. I don't think this group of people would even consider voting for a pro-choice candidate, Republican or not. Therefore, I think it is complete bunk that he will actually get the nomination. If he does, the stuff will hit the fan for sure.
