Why are questions already closed when emailed from answers contacts?

why are questions already closed when emailed from answer's contacts eve as many as 5 or more at a time and posted almost as email being opened so not there more than 30 minutes tops! it really is becoming farcical and I really would like to know if it is just a few of us or if this is widespread and of course as I say Why is it happening?
